FEAR OF MOVING
Moving is one of the tasks facing all of society. Between 2 and 5 times in your life approximately, bearing in mind that the Spaniards are the Europeans who move less often either real estate or even country.
It is a very heavy task but we do it with great emotion because it represents the end of a stage and the beginning of a new one with new goals and illusions.
To make this task easier for you at All4Flat we are going to give you some tips:
Have everything we need to move: Get free boxes to save money, you can get them from friends, neighbors and even some shops. If all this is not enough, a removal company can sell you some for a small price of 2€. In addition to adhesive tape, material to label the boxes, bubble wrap for the most fragile objects and a lot of patience.
Cleaning: Before starting to pack your belongings the most important thing is to clean, get rid of everything you no longer use or do not need.
Emergency box: Have an open box with everything you will use until the last few days: toothbrush, toothpaste, gel, shampoo, pyjamas, towels, some muda…
Enable a specific place: Try to keep all the packed boxes in the same place so that none is lost, but at the same time that they do not hinder the passage.
Labeling: Always label on the side and back so that it is easy to identify what is in each of the boxes.
A very useful type of labeling is: set color labels for each room. It can be more useful, I saw it on the net a long time ago and I found it very original.
Furniture: Dismantle all those that allow it to be easier to move them. All the agricultural pieces in a plastic bag and label them to know what piece of furniture they are. Above all, don’t lose any piece of furniture.
Removal companies: If you are moving, you can contact friends and family who can help you during the weekend, rent a van or contact a removal company. Keeping in mind that contacting the latter, although the price is higher, minimizes the stress of this whole process, offers you the security of knowing that your objects arrive in perfect condition and you will not have to endure the terrible traffic that is concentrated in some parts of the city.
